This year Stone Marketing is the main sponsor of the Writing Equipment Show, taking place on October the 12th at the Kensington Town Hall. The Writing Equipment show is organised by the Writing Equipment Society who held their first meeting of pen enthusiasts in 1980. Since 1980 the Society has around 500 members and is dedicated to the recording and sharing of knowledge ownership, conservation, and the study of all things relating to writing instruments to share with like minded enthusiasts. Stone Marketing is very excited about being the main sponsor of this years event in October.

London Writing Equipment Show - 12th October 2008

Stone Marketing is one of the UK's largest distributors of fine writing instruments and has gained many years experience at the quality end of this market. Stone Marketing is a privately owned UK business, which was set up by Simon Stone in 1989. Previous to setting up his own business, Simon was a Director at Alfred Dunhill Ltd, with specific responsibilities for Mont Blanc. In recent years, Margaret Lamden formerly of Conté and Pilot has joined the company. Stone Marketing exclusively distributes the following luxury brands; Graf von Faber Castell who are well known for their Pen of Year and the Perfect Pencil, Caran d'Ache who have introduced pens such as the Ivanhoe and the Leman bi-color range inspired by the evening light on Lake Leman in Switzerland. Pelikan with their classic and timeless ranges namely the Souveran series and Sheaffer who are a household name. These brands not only produce their standard lines but also produce special and limited editions which are fast becoming collectors items. Stone Marketing are also exclusive UK distributors for Porsche Design writing instruments, Faber-Castell and Tombow, who are all design led brands which have focussed on a modern and innovative approach when designing their ranges, keeping their writing instruments unique and interesting. Stone Marketing will have stand at the exhibition on the 12th October which enables them to mingle with retailers and pen enthusiasts on what should be a very interesting day.
